What's a managed private cloud?

A managed private cloud is a dedicated cloud computing environment tailored exclusively for your organization, where all resources like servers, storage, and networking are isolated from other users for enhanced security and control. Unlike public clouds, it's not shared, offering customization to meet specific compliance or performance needs. The "managed" aspect means a third-party provider handles the setup, maintenance, monitoring, and optimization, freeing your team from day-to-day operations while ensuring reliability and scalability.

Where can I request a deployment?

You can request a deployment by contacting our sales team directly via email. We offer a global presence with points of presence in over 20 major locations across North and South America, Europe, Asia, Oceania, and Africa, allowing us to deploy the requested service we offer close to your users for optimal performance and low latency.

What's TTFB? Why should I care?

TTFB stands for Time to First Byte, which measures the time it takes for a user's browser or client to receive the first byte of data from the server after making a request. It's a key performance metric because a lower TTFB means faster initial response times, leading to quicker page loads, better user experience, and potentially higher search engine rankings.

Our network acceleration service can significantly improve application responsiveness by reducing TTFB, especially for dynamic content or latency-sensitive services where every millisecond counts.

How does network acceleration work?

Our network acceleration service combines the functionality of a content delivery network (CDN) and an anycast tunneling solution. It leverages shorter, premium internet paths between our datacenters to deliver content to users faster, often using more optimal routes than those provided by standard ISPs. This reduces latency and improves reliability for global audiences. Note that to fully benefit from the tunneling solution, your origin server should be located close to one of our points of presence to minimize initial latency. However, the CDN component doesn't have this critical requirement, as it caches HTTP requests on the fly at edge locations, serving repeated requests directly from the cache without needing to query the origin each time. Contact our sales team for a tailored solution.

Does network acceleration include DDoS protection?

Yes, DDoS protection is included with our network acceleration service at no extra charge. In today's digital landscape, where cyber threats are increasingly common, robust protection is essential to maintain uptime and security. Our solution provides global filtering with an estimated total capacity of 4 Tbps, automatically detecting and mitigating distributed denial-of-service attacks to keep your applications running smoothly.
